Baton Rouge Health Care Center is part of the CommCare family, a Louisiana non-profit corporation which operates 15 skilled nursing facilities all in the state of Louisiana. We believe that our company is small enough to recognize and support individual needs of each center, yet large enough to bring the resources necessary to continuously improve quality of care.

Thank you for visiting Baton Rouge Health Care Center’s webpage. We welcome the opportunity to share the things that make us special. In serving residents, we seek to provide quality health care, while continuing to respect the individual.

When visitors walk through our center, one of the first things they notice is the friendly atmosphere. Not only do residents and staff have a close, personal relationship, but families of residents, visitors and volunteers are also very involved and become extended family.

This warm, family atmosphere has been a natural step to move into the philosophy of person-centered care.

Person-centered care means that we provide care in an environment that respects the desires of the individual. So we look for opportunities to offer choice – whether it is our refreshment bar that residents can enjoy at anytime, offering choices at mealtimes or choice of bathing times.

In the continuing quest to provide quality health care, Baton Rouge Health Care Center has engaged a nurse practitioner who adds another level of expertise to our staff. And between our tenured staff and schedule of continuing education opportunities, Baton Rouge Health Care Center is constantly striving to continue to improve quality of care and quality of life.
